Our Coalitions: Building Power Together

College for All Coalition

ABC is proud to lead the College for All Coalition. College for All is a multiracial coalition committed to advancing educational equity for low-income and underserved students in California. Through advocacy and policy-making, the coalition works to ensure access, investment, and equity in public and higher education.

 Consortium for Multilingual Learner Success

The Consortium for Multilingual Learner Success is a regional collective of over 100 organizations in Los Angeles led by co-chairs, Alliance for a Better Community and Californians Together, with an advisory committee of nine organizations including academic, research, community, and policy and advocacy organizations to uplift what we know about good policies, programs, and practices for multilingual learners.

Digital Equity LA

Digital Equity LA is a coalition of equity and justice advocates across Los Angeles County and California to ensure everyone has access to fast, reliable, and affordable broadband. The coalition is made up of educators, healthcare providers, economic development advocates, and community leaders dedicated to serving and advocating for Californians who have often been left behind. As a member organization, ABC ensures the voices of families are heard—bringing lived experience, community-driven solutions, and a commitment to power-building to the coalition’s efforts.

Regional Education Committees

ABC leads the newly formed Southeast Los Angeles (SELA) and San Fernando Valley Education Committees with the purpose of convening a diverse group of organizations to collaborate and advocate for the communities of the San Fernando Valley and SELA and support their local students and families through powerbuilding, advocacy, and direct service.
