Senior Civic Engagement Manager
The Senior Civic Engagement and Programs Manager leads the implementation of ABC’s voter outreach, civic engagement, and advocacy programs. Reporting to the Director of Strategy and working closely with the Programs and Policy team, this role leads the planning, implementation, and evaluation of ABC’s civic engagement and community programs, aligning community-based strategies with ABC’s organizational priorities, legislative agenda, and long-term power-building goals.
Internships
Communications & Content Creator Internship
The Communications & Content Creator Intern will support the Communications Department by creating digital content, assisting with media relations, conducting research, and supporting outreach for campaigns and special events that advance educational equity, college access, and civic engagement. This internship provides hands-on experience in nonprofit communications while building professional skills in content creation, media relations, digital storytelling, and community engagement.
Programs & Public Policy Internship
The Programs & Public Policy Intern will support the Programs Department by developing educational materials, strengthening outreach efforts, and helping translate policy priorities into accessible community resources. This internship provides hands-on experience in curriculum development, policy education, community engagement, and program operations while building skills in advocacy and public service.
Administrative Internship
The Operations Intern will support day-to-day administrative functions, office operations, data management, and event logistics while gaining hands-on experience with nonprofit operations and organizational systems. Through the use of tools like Google Workspace and Asana, the intern will strengthen their communication, organization, and project management skills while contributing to meaningful operational initiatives across the organization.
Policy & Advocacy Internship
The Policy & Advocacy Intern will support the Policy and Programs teams through policy research, coalition engagement, community outreach, and advocacy initiatives that advance educational equity and opportunities for Latina/o communities. This internship provides hands-on experience in policy analysis, advocacy writing, legislative research, and community organizing while building the skills and relationships needed to translate community priorities into meaningful policy action.
