Fuerza Fund provides flexible, no-strings-attached funding to the trusted Latino-led nonprofits on the frontlines of our community.
About Fuerza Fund
Funding the organizations closest to the need
Led by Alliance for a Better Community (ABC), the Fuerza Fund directs resources to Latina/o-led and serving organizations across Los Angeles — groups that are chronically underfunded despite doing essential work. We invest across three interconnected phases:
Rapid, flexible resources for families navigating urgent crises — immigration enforcement, natural disasters, and acute community needs.
Sustained investment to stabilize families, strengthen coalitions, and rebuild community infrastructure after disruption.
Flexible, trust-based funding that strengthens Latino-led organizations from the inside out — building the leadership, capacity, and civic power needed to create lasting change.
Proven Impact: Stress-tested through real emergencies
Since January 2025, the Fuerza Fund has mobilized over $1 million – deployed through wildfires and immigration raids. Over three years, ABC has awarded $847K in sub-grants to partner organizations across key focus areas including digital equity, civic engagement, narrative change, wildfire relief, and mutual aid.
