Anabel Giron is CCF’s Senior Vice President of Investments, where she oversees the strategic direction and day-to-day management of the Foundation’s various investment portfolios, totaling approximately $2.3 billion in assets. In this role, she works closely with the CFO to align investment strategies with the Foundation’s broader financial objectives. Anabel also collaborates with the Foundation’s Investment Committee, external consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure that the Foundation’s investments are in line with its mission and positioned for long-term sustainability.

Anabel brings over twenty years of experience in financial analysis, investment management, and impact investing to her current role. Immediately before assuming the Senior Vice President role, Anabel served as an investment consultant for CCF for one year. Additionally, from 2014 to 2021, she was CCF’s Director of Investments. She also previously held the role of Director of Investments at the California Wellness Foundation. Anabel spent the first ten years of her professional career in financial advisory services, specializing in company and financial instrument valuations.

Anabel is deeply committed to community involvement and serves on the boards of DIY Girls, HOPE, and First City Credit Union. She holds a Master of Science in Operations Research from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from California State University, Northridge.
