Let’s Vote

Empowering Our Future

This year, we know the significance of the upcoming primary and general elections and the impact they will have on our communities. We also recognize the power that the Latino/a community holds in shaping the future. It is our collective responsibility to work together to amplify this power and work towards increasing Latino/a representation.

Latino/as’ lived experiences, family and community needs are motivating factors for our civic participation. That’s why we are agents of change and have powerful influence in our homes, places of work, and communities.

Our communities must recognize their collective power, unite, and take action now!

2024 Voter Guide

We are dedicated to empowering and mobilizing every Latino/a voter in the Los Angeles region, urging them to exercise their right to vote and make their voices heard. By doing so, we can advocate for a vibrant future where Latino/as fully partipate in and benefit from a prosperous multi-ethnic community with improved quality of life in education, health, economic prosperity, and civic participation.

Your vote matters!

Stay tuned for our 2024 voter guide, scheduled for release from late summer to early fall. ABC’s voter guide will provide valuable information to help you navigate the ballot, enabling you to support local and statewide initiatives that uplift and expand opportunities for all communities.

2022 Voter Engagement

ABC launched a comprehensive voter outreach program to engage and inform Latino/a voters in LA County. Our program included door-to-door canvassing, targeted text messaging, and a video featuring messages from community leaders. We also developed a Voter Guide available in English and Spanish that provides detailed information on 7 state propositions and 2 LA County ballot measures. Our guide explains how these measures will impact our communities and recommends whether to vote yes or no. Our goal is to empower voters in LA County to make informed decisions at the ballot box and to participate in shaping the future of our community.

2020 Voter Engagement

ABC parent leaders and volunteers were instrumental in ABC’s ability to engage Latino/a voters to get out the vote! They reached 850,00+ registered voters in the Los Angeles region in collaboration with partner organizations to increase voter turnout on statewide measures Proposition 15 and Proposition 16. ABC released a 2020 Voter Guide in both English and Spanish which provided recommendations on ballot measures and highlighted the impact they have on Latino/as. Together with partners, we hosted press events, Platicas Comunitarias or town halls, banner drops, and a ballot party to educate on the importance of voting, how to vote, voting rights and the significance of various propositions.
