Lizette Roman serves as the Programs Assistant at the Alliance for a Better Community, where she supports the Fuerza Fund application review process, coordinates events, and manages various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of ABC’s programs.

Currently a rising senior at Cal State LA, Lizette is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Public Relations. She also serves as the President of the Academic Honors Association and an Honors College Ambassador, demonstrating leadership and communication skills while advocating for student success. Lizette’s experience as a James R. Galbraith Fellow, interning in the office of Governor Gavin Newsom, has provided her with valuable exposure to public service and policy advocacy, shaping her commitment to advancing social justice and equity.

Outside of her work at ABC, Lizette enjoys spending quality time with her dad watching Dodgers games, staying active at the gym, and unwinding with Netflix shows.
