Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Public Relations, Lizette’s coursework has equipped her with a deep understanding of effective communication strategies and digital media platforms.
Lizette’s commitment to academic excellence and passion for social justice drive her dedication to creating impactful content for ABC. As the current President of the Academic Honors Association and an Honors College Ambassador, she demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills while advocating for student success. Furthermore, her experience as a James R Galbraith fellow, interning in the office of Governor Gavin Newsom, has provided invaluable exposure to public service and policy advocacy. This firsthand experience deeply impacts Lizette both personally and professionally, reinforcing her commitment to advancing social justice and equity.
