Bonnie Amos

Communications Manager

Bonnie Amos serves as the Communications Manager at Alliance for a Better Community. In this role, she assists in creating and implementing strategic communication collateral, from managing social media to supporting event planning and coalition work. 

Bonnie has a background in customer service and nonprofit communications and an interest in social impact and digital storytelling. Before joining ABC, Bonnie worked for an organization that supports formerly incarcerated individuals, where she assisted with a range of activities, including highlighting the residents and staff through photos and video. Bonnie graduated with a Bachelor’s in Television, Film, and Media from California State University, Los Angeles. She is passionate about using media and the arts to educate and inspire the public to engage with social justice issues. 

Bonnie is originally from Texas, but after almost a decade in Los Angeles, she considers herself an Angeleno and is proud to work for an organization that supports the LA region. In her free time, Bonnie enjoys organizing her family calendar and eating chocolate chip cookies.
