Ana Karen Estrada (She/Her/Ella) serves as Senior Programs Coordinator for Alliance for a Better Community, where she leads programming with ABC’s parent network and civic engagement initiatives that highlight the intersection of programs and policy advocacy. Ana oversees Integrated Voter Engagement strategies, Parent Academy workshops, ABC’s Latina/o Professional Network, and the Fuerza Fund.
A first-generation college graduate with a B.A. in Political Science from California State University, Northridge, Ana previously worked as a RaĆz Organizer for Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, demonstrating her commitment to the Latina/o community and reproductive health. Her leadership extends to her role as Board Chair of Project Super Bloom PAC and board member of San Fernando Valley Young Democrats. In 2023, she was honored as Youth Activist of the Year by State Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel and as a “Future Political Activist” by H.O.P.E., while in 2024, California Enviro Voters celebrated her contributions to amplifying youth political power.
Growing up in a working-class San Fernando Valley household as the eldest of four children, Ana takes immense pride in her Mexican-American heritage. As a bilingual professional whose first language was Spanish, she understands firsthand the importance of diversity, inclusivity, and multilingualism in all spaces, including academic institutions. These lived experiences fuel her passion for creating representation in critical spaces and advocating for issues that matter most to the communities she serves.
Ana remains deeply committed to community engagement and building platforms that amplify diverse voices, with her work reflecting her dedication to creating essential representation in all spaces of influence and decision-making.
