As Finance and Operations Coordinator, Aleessa supports the finance and operations teams at ABC, including booking, invoicing, payment and reimbursement processing, and operational support.

Aleessa has a background in research and grant administration, budget development and planning, compliance, and project management at universities and nonprofit organizations. She served as Project Director for an outreach program that provided tutoring and counseling services to high school students in historically marginalized areas of Los Angeles. Aleessa has a Master’s in Urban Planning from UCLA, and has an interest in designing healthier and safer cities for children and families.

Aleessa has a passion for advancing policies and securing resources that foster economic prosperity and collective health and well-being in disenfranchised communities. She is also passionate about women’s health, leadership development, and empowerment. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, exploring local adventures with her family, or getting lost in a book.
