Abril Olalde graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Urban and Regional Studies.

She started her advocacy journey through student organizing at UCLA where she gained experience in youth empowerment, labor organizing, and community-based research. It is through these experiences where she learned the importance of community led change. She is passionate about empowering her community through connection, joy, and love. Today she continues to immerse herself in community through art and service.

Abril is from South Central Los Angeles. In her free time, Abril loves to play video games, read comic books, and discover new music.
