Veronica Carrizales is the Managing Director of Programs at The California Wellness Foundation, one of California’s largest public health philanthropic institutions. The California Wellness Foundation awards approximately $43 million annually in grants and program-related investments that promote health equity, justice and advocacy. 

Veronica is a first-generation Chicana who was raised in the Coachella Valley with nine siblings in a farmworker family. She is passionate about advancing the cause of social and economic justice.

In the last year, Veronica has grown more familiar with the work of ABC and supported our voter outreach efforts. With her extensive experience in policy reform and fundraising, she will surely be an asset to our team, and we look forward to working with her to achieve our goals.
