Katy serves as an Outreach Coordinator for ABC and is responsible for supporting the Programs team with community outreach.

Katy Meza is a remarkable community leader with a 15-year history of dedicated involvement. Her journey began as a volunteer at her son Yael’s school, and since then, she has consistently remained deeply committed to her children’s education. Presently, Katy continues her volunteer work at her youngest son Matthew’s school, as he prepares to enter grade 6.

Beyond her role as a devoted mother, Katy has also emerged as a prominent figure in her community. Having resided in South Gate for 16 years, she now proudly contributes to the ABC team. Her steadfast dedication extends beyond her family, as she passionately advocates for the Latina/o and immigrant communities, striving to foster greater equality.
